How it Works

Butterfly valves are primarily used in the food and beverage industry where maintaining sanitary conditions are crucial.
They can be used for isolating or regulating flow in hygienic processes. The closing mechanism has the form of a disk, the operation allows an easy shut-off.
Pentair Südmo offers a variety of options that allow monitoring and control of the shutt-off valves through the control system, including our state-of-the-art IntelliTop 2.0 control unit.

• Solid forged disk.

• Low friction due to optimal centering and guidance by means of plain bearings.
BUTTERFLY SEAL
• Special sealing geometry ensures long service life.
• Quick identification of nominal diameter and material by marking the seal.
• All sealing materials are compliant with the current directives (e.g. FDA, EC 1935/2004).
BUTTERFLY HOUSING
• Large number of connection variants.
• Marking of material, nominal diameter and pressure rating.
• Housing production with acceptance test certificate according to DIN EN ISO 10204 – 3.1 (APZ).
